Bishops Stortford was blessed to have this amazing upcoming band come to headline The Horn at The Half Moon on 3rd March 2018 as a warm up show for their tour support slot with Editors. I feel terrible I’d never heard of October Drift until now but that’s what I love about having a proper music venue down the road from me now. The amount of new upcoming bands I’m being introduced to, I’m blessed myself.
This first act turned up with just his guitar all the way from LA. The wonderful Dylan Dunlap! A true performer.
The Palpitations were next on and unfortunately not many photos were taken due to the awful lighting on the band throughout their whole set.
There was another act on, Sophie Milne, but I was actually working so didn’t grab any photos but the music coming from the venue was definitely worth listening to.
The band I’d been waiting in anticipation to see after listening for weeks on Spotify and hearing what an incredible live band they are, October Drift. They blew me away. When I was checking the photos the next day though it was like an amateur had taken them as I’m a little out of touch when it comes to an actual energetic band like that! I like to think I’ve picked out a good bunch of live photos though and what a brilliant bunch of guys for getting together for a photo at the end (As well as the drinks and lock in we had at the pub. It’s at the top of my best nights out list.)
